Around Guyco they call him “Towers”, but it’s unclear whether it’s his height they refer to or his big local reputation as a Northland rugby representative and All Black.

Glenn did his carpentry apprenticeship at Guyco, returning to the company a few years later to manage their Herd Homes unit.

With a farming background and the legacy of strong leadership skills from his rugby career, this made a lot of sense.

Glenn enjoys getting out and talking to farmers, but he also enjoys the Guyco office.

“We have a great team here,” he says, “and I’m a family man so I appreciate the family-oriented, old-fashioned values of the place. It’s a very pleasant place to work.”
