Peter Dainty - Factory Manager

A self-confessed perfectionist, Pete oversees every aspect of factory production with a keen eye.

“If it’s not quality, or not what the customer wants, it doesn’t leave the factory,” he says. Thankfully, that seldom happens.

Pete has been 20 years in the joinery industry. The last nine have been with Guyco, during which he has gathered a close and capable production team around him.

He sees his team as an extension of himself. Pete has high expectations of his workers, but they rise to that challenge.

“I can’t do my job without them,” he says, “and I’m always open to their suggestions for improving work.”

Pete’s team carries that same attitude through to the customer.

“We’ll listen to their ideas,” he says, “and do everything we possibly can within the practical constraints of the project.”
